This patient was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer and underwent mastectomy and tissue expander reconstruction followed by radiation. This was complicated by tissue expander infection and removal on the right. I converted both sides to DIEP flaps followed by secondary revision to reconstruct the nipple areola complex and refine the shape.
